The Story
The Goal
The backyard and side yard were overgrown with weeds and bare dirt, with no clear path to the basement suite entrance. The homeowners wanted a clean, low-maintenance yard that looks sharp year-round and needs no mowing.
What We Did
We cleared and tilled out the weeds, levelled the ground, and laid commercial landscape fabric to stop weeds coming back. We framed the layout with stained timber borders, filled the beds with two contrasting decorative rocks (warm river rock and crisp grey crushed stone), and set concrete stepping stones to create paths through the backyard and down the side yard to the suite entrance.
The Result
A tidy, modern yard with clear walkways and no lawn to maintain, finished in just two days.
